Browser Extension

The Evim Property Capture extension collects the following data when you explicitly choose to save a property:

• Page Content: The HTML content of property listing pages you choose to capture
• Agent Notes: Any notes you enter when saving a property
• Authentication Tokens: Session tokens stored locally in your browser to authenticate with Evim
• Page URL: The URL of the property listing page

How We Use Your Information

• Property Parsing: We process captured HTML content on our servers to extract property details (address, price, features, images)
• Workspace Management: To save and organize properties in your Evim workspace
• Authentication: To verify your identity and authorize access to your data
• Service Improvement: To understand usage patterns and improve our platform

Why We Capture Full Page Content

Our extension captures the complete HTML content of property pages rather than individual data fields. This "blind courier" approach ensures:

• Reliability: The extension continues working even when listing websites update their layout
• Security: All data parsing happens on our secure servers, not in your browser
• Simplicity: Minimal browser-side code reduces security vulnerabilities

The captured HTML is processed immediately to extract property information and is not stored in raw form.

Data Storage

Browser Storage

The extension stores authentication tokens locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data remains on your device and is encrypted by your browser.

Server Storage

Property data and account information are stored securely in our database hosted on Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade security and encryption at rest.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Authentication and database services
• Vercel: Application hosting and analytics
• Lystos (Optional): Additional property data enrichment, only when you explicitly enable it and have a Lystos account

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only:

• With your explicit consent
• To comply with legal obligations
• With service providers who assist in operating our platform (under strict confidentiality agreements)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all properties and data stored in your Evim workspace
• Delete: Remove any property or client data from your workspace
• Export: Request a copy of your data
• Opt-out: Uninstall the extension at any time to stop data collection
• Account Deletion: Request complete deletion of your account and associated data
